Terms of Service

What BindLedger provides

BindLedger provides attestation verification tools for cyber insurance workflows. Free readiness checks, dashboards, reports, and evidence workflows are offered for operational use and are provided subject to these terms. BindLedger does not provide legal advice, insurance advice, or broker services.

User responsibility

Users remain responsible for the accuracy of their insurance applications and related statements, even when BindLedger is used to verify evidence behind those answers.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use BindLedger to scan domains you do not own or have authorization to assess, to misrepresent attestation results, or to submit false or misleading information through the service.

Intellectual property

The BindLedger name, logo, software, and documentation are the property of BindLedger. Scan results and reports generated through the platform may be used by you for your legitimate business purposes, including insurance applications and renewals.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BindLedger shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. BindLedger's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BindLedger from claims arising from your use of the service, including any inaccuracies in insurance applications or attestation statements.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms or for any reason with 30 days notice. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion unless you request earlier deletion.

Dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms with notice through the product or website.
